Time: 11:10 am Location: Downtown, Dockside Warehouse Driving to the address provided is quick and uneventful. Making the last turn onto the street with the warehouse you are surrounded by the everyday hustle and bustle of the working man's life. The AR here is very mild and staid. For those with your Comms on you'll get the weather (partly cloudy with a high of 68ºF/20ºC), some advertisements for fresh fish (¥5/lbs) and Help Wanted displays (fishermen and haulers). The warehouse that you want is situated between Freddy's Fishershack® and an untitled (apparently abandoned) warehouse. The access code from the chip opens the warehouse side door and one of you will need to go in and open the main roll-up door. Once inside (you can drive in) you will find the entire ground floor empty save for a few paint cans that might have been here for over 30 yrs. A visual and physical scan of this floor gains you nothing beyond a set of stairs, on Freddy’s side of the building going to the second floor and a second set (on the opposite side) going down to a basement with a SOTA Vault door with no apparent opening mechanism. The 2nd floor provides you with 4 dozen military style footlockers stacked in sets of 4, all save one are locked with simple tumbler combination locks ((Logic+Locksmith Threshold 1 or Strength+Athletics Threshold 3)). The one without a lock is already open and has been or always was emptied. Also on this floor is an access ladder to the roof, several work benches (sans tools), as well a heap of dusty canvas tarps in 3 of the 4 corners.

Nix is quiet the entire ride over, his thoughts on the situation as it continues to spiral out of his control. When they arrive at the warehouse, he makes a quick astral recon (( Presumably finding nothing out of the ordinary? )) before giving the team the go ahead to proceed up to the warehouse.
Once someone else opens the doors and the vehicles are inside, he pulls down his cowl and pulls on his gloves. Taking another moment to relax he summons a pair of watchers, limiting their time to two hours.
Watcher #1: "Patrol this building. If anyone besides the five of us in these two vehicles enter, come get me and show me who entered."
Watcher #2: "Follow that watcher and alert me if anyone or anything impedes it from its patrol or attacks it."
He then follows his teammates into the warehouse and to the second floor, keeping tabs on the dwarf's position - not quite sure about him yet.
When they discover the crates he looks to the team, "Give me just a moment."
Nix concentrates for a moment to call forth a spirit of man.

After getting out and opening the large roll up door Sam goes upstairs where he finds the locked footlockers and rips off the lock with ease. "I hope that wasn't supposed to be hard or something like that." After doing that he drops the broken locks on the floor. "After this i think we should hit house number 3 cause i could use some of the stuff in there, but whatever is fine with me as long as we hit that house before it gets tossed."

Once the journey is underway Lorne passes the necessary details to Ticket's and establishes (providing he is consenting) a pan-to-pan connection.
Once inside the warehouse Lorne turns to the dwarf.
"Please wait here, on this floor - if i need you I'll comm you."
With that, he heads upstairs with the rest. He visibly flinches when Sam tears off the locks.

Christoff watched quietly as the other vehicle opened up the warehouse so the two vehicles could enter. He and the 'boss' had established a Pan-to-Pan connection en route, but other than that, the elf hadn't said much. Christoff just shrugged and climbed out of the car inside the mostly deserted warehouse.
"Please wait here, on this floor - if i need you I'll comm you."
Christoff shrugged and nodded, wandering over to the man door to watch outside, in case anyone came to check out what was going on. The other four, the three elves and the cyborg dispersed to search the place. Christoff was listening as they talked back and forth. A secure vault door downstairs...Interesting... Another shout and the four of them ran to go look upstairs. The disappeared upstairs and were gone for quite a while and Christoff had lots of time to look around.
Christoff kept a lookout by the door for a while...But curiosity is an evil companion, especially when you are left alone for a while. Taking a last look outside, Christoff wandered over to look at the stairs and the vault at the bottom, looking carefully for brand names, access panels etc. He did a bit of break and enter on the side when things got tough...
Taking a last look towards the up stairs at the far end of the semidark warehouse, Christoff sauntered down the stairs for a better look.

Nix replies, "Hmmmm.... Give me a minute." as he walks over to one of the work benches and lies down on it. He then projects into the astral sweeping through the crates and into the vault in the basement looking for enchanted items and materials.

"I have some gear in my car - an autopicker - that might do the trick here."
Zen then turns his attention to the astral plane, looking around for anything (or anyone) out of place.

via Comm to Sam, Nix: "Nobody followed you guys from the bar. I'll stay on perimeter watch till you guys are done. I'm 30 seconds out if you need me."
Tickets: I'm about the only out of the ordinary you'll see outside as I cruise past on my bike. I'll nod in your direction but otherwise make no indication that I know you. Not that I do, but you know what I mean.

to blood fear via Comm: "Roger that."
With that said Sam walks down stairs to take a look at the vault door.

Christoff fairly quickly realized there was not much to look at the vault and there was no way for him to get in. The 10 seconds or so, it took him to assertain that, came and went, and Christoff went back upstairs, lighting a smoke as he went. He wandered around the ground floor some, kicking empty cans and looking around until the cyborg came thumping down the stairs. Crickey, he's a big one. He prolly couldn't sneak up on a post... The dwarf chuckled to himself as he started walking over to see what the large more-machine-than-man man was doing....

On his return upstairs, Nix materializes a short ways in front of Sam, "I think there are a few crates there we want to check out first." He then vanishes and returns to his body. From there, he walks directly over to the three crates with the biofibre.
Looking of to Zen, "These three are lined with biofibre.... but so is the valut downstairs are well.. and there is a spirit on the vault..."

Christoff starts to get nervous, watching his clock and lighting another cigarette. They'd been here for a long time already, coming up on 10 minutes and nobody but the big cyborg had come down, and no-one cept the other elf, passing by outside...He was nervous that he didnt know what was going on with his new 'boss' and he hadn't heard anything...maybe they've neutralized him... the dwarf thought to himself. No, they'd prolly come after me if that happened....
The dwarf gauged the distance to Lorne's car, and tried to remember if the elf had left the keys in it...He couldn't, and he couldn't go check either...
Drek, the waiting is killing me...Gotta stay sharp... Christoff started another circuit of the warehouse's entrances. Dumb drek-head. You don't even know what you got yourself into here.... Muttering, Christoff moves to the base of the stairs and considers for the sixth time checking the Pan-to-Pan connection with his 'boss'...

"Mr Ticket's, we've hit a slight hitch and will be staying longer than originally intended..."
"Hmm, that explains the strange effects around this room..." Lorne says, blinking and turning to Nix.
"But what could be in these crates that's so precious? Can you break through the fibre, and if so will that wake the spirit?"

Nix replies, "I'm not sure.... I still don't understand the corruption of astral space here." shaking his head... confused.
He squats, looking at the cases. After a moment, he stands back up and turns back to Zen, "Not sure about the spirit. Let's start with the vault. The background count yells trap at me."
With that he turns and heads for the vault, looking back to insure Zen is coming as well. When he reaches Sam he apologizes, "Sorry, changed my mind about the crates... for now. Let's start with the vault after all."
