Will post results of 1st initiative pass Tues @ 6:00ish. Those who have not posted inits and actions plz do so. I've been racking my brain on how to "hold actions." Since this is by post and not a live rpg, whats everyones thoughts? 1) Initiative 2) Lowest Initiative declares action 1st and on up to Highest Initiative. 3) Highest Initiative's actions occur first on down to lowest Initiative. If someone posts their actions and then reads a lower Initiative's actions they can modify their action to correspond. Or you (GM) roll every one's initiative using the dice roller applet on the board and then we post our actions in turns, lowest to highest. You also set a fixed time limit on when the post needs to be made by and stick to that every time. **ie:: Starting today (Monday 6/25) you roll everyones initiative say by 8pmish EST. Then everyone knows that every Monday by 8pmish EST there will be an initiative post. Then on Tuesday by 8pmish EST everyone needs to post their declared action. On Wednesday by 8pmish EST you resolve actions. Then Thursday and reaction rolls by the players are made by 8pmish EST and on Friday you post the complete action report.
If you want to shorten the time limits to say 12 hours.... well we are playing by post because of time constraints in real life.
Of course this will make the battle a long drawn out affair, but unless we agree to meet online at least once a week through an IM or MiRC, game play is going to be slow no matter what.
*******BTW make sure you post any extra initiative passes you might have. Especially you combat types.********

I am on PST and have no access to the boards at work. I don't get off until 8:00 pm EST and it typically takes an hour for me to get home. Initiative: 6+ [dice=6] [dice=6] [dice=6] [dice=6] [dice=6] [dice=6] # of passes: 1 (I suck, what can I say?) Action: as stated previously, being stealthy and making my way to the bodies. click on "reply" and use that top post a message. Right under the font options theres a picture of a die. Click it as many times as you need rolls.
Thanks for the advice Xeno, I like it (about my rolling inits and everyone posting actions in reverse order. I may not be able to give immediate results for an 11:00 post (I get up really early in the morn) but I can post as quick as I can. We'll say "by midnight" of the night in question, but responses my not be until the following day. Work? Also, I need to know beforehand if you're using edge on any tests.
So: Xeno is casting his spell on 6 Kimiko is trying to sneak closer and get to a body on 7 Tank is shooting at the closest guy to him on 11 Hez is currently skipping his action this round
FYI: Freemymind has left the campaign and I'm assuming that Nairb is also not playing anymore. I am opening up 2 spots but will not add people until after this part of the run is over.

Tank: You have +5 die for your roll. Plz make your roll including if you are using edge or not.
*about edge: PLZ post a new post to re-roll 6's if you're using edge. Do not modify posts when die rolls are concerned... looks bad.

At this point Hez will make sure his Remington is ready loaded and wait in the van to see how things unfold.

Tank: Add your attribute and your skill rating together plus modifiers. So you have an agility of 3 and an assault rifle rating of 3. Adding the 5 die I told you to equals 11 die. Your weapon has different firing modes. Apply the appropriate modifier for weapon mode (pg 142-144 SR:4th ed) and roll please.

(The secret to the die roller!!! make sure theres a space between the brackets)
Tanks gun erupts in fire sending bullets towards the first target. Due to a slight wind calibration the bullets hit the ground in front of the first person and travel off to the side of him.
Kimiko disappears into the darkness while Xenos spell is finishing. (plz roll stealth + agility for target number)
Xeno: What force rating are you casting this spell at? Bear in mind the rain that has been falling will increase the target threshold (hard to get glue to stick to water).
Glue Strip (type)P (obj threshold) S(OR) LOS(A) Physical (sustained)S (drain)F/2+3
Decide and roll just that for now... **remember to compensate for any existing drain...**We'll do drain afterwards.
*reminder* Everyone, please post your die rolls and DO NOT click on the modify button afterwards. If you wish to calculate your hits/misses for me, please do it in a separate post... not modifying the one your die rolls are in. Thanks.

Seeing Tank's opportune distraction Hez holding his shotgun will make a mad dash towards the vans doing his best to stay low and dodge any fire that comes his way.
