If you buy a set of trodes, that is an effective DNI controller for your commlink. Sure, you can subtract the funds and assume you've got them (or whatever else you'd like in order to mess with the Matrix).
Jade, if you have trodes then you can interface with the Matrix without needing your hands. Just a tip.

Do I need the Trodes if I have an internal Comm Link?
Sorry, still trying to get the hang of some of this stuff.

I'm not possitive, but I believe an internal commlink functions by way of a hardlink straight to your brain. I'm not sure if you need glasses and an earbud, since it has direct access to your brain. I'd think not, but that's up to Abschalten.

I'd think not, but that's up to Abschalten. Well I have the internal Comm Link, a data jack along with tricked out cyber ears & eyes, plus a few other toys under the hood too. As I said I'm new to SR and trying to get a good handle on how all the parts interact with my particular set up. Thanks for the info and I'll go with AB's call when he gets a chance. JD

Where is Firethroat's bike and if it is here what do I do with Jade's in the mean time?

His bike is in a parking garage with in a few miles of where we had the meeting.
After we pick up the van I was thinking we can stop there, you switch bikes, Clu can leave his and I'll leave my car.
Then after the job we pick up our stuff and leave Clu's bike to pick up after everything is square with the Johnson.

An implanted commlink is connected to the brain and nervous system via DNI (direct neural interface) wiring. A datajack also implants DNI functionality. So yeah, you don't need to wave your hands around, either. Even if all you had was a datajack, you could plug your commlink into your datajack via a cable and control it via your thoughts that way as well. You can also install a commlink into a cyberarm, or even a cyberleg if you'd like.

Cool, thanks for the info and clarification.
So I don't need to add anything to my equip and I'm ready to rock.

The garage is more or less deserted of people, but not vehicles. It's dank, slightly moldy-smelling, claustrophobic, and not illuminated very well by the flickering fluorescent lights on the ceilings. The cars are low enough in number, however, to give the group their choice of meeting spots without much danger of being overheard or spotted. I'm a little confused, so I just want to be sure. As I understood things we where going to a stuffer shack near to Clu's place to pick up a rental Van provided by Clu's fixer. Pick up the Van and use an Auto-pilot to get all our vehicles to the garage where FT's bike was parked, near the Muscovite lounge. I'm guessing by this discription we have the van and have arrived at the parking garage with FT's bike, correct?

I gotta chime in here too. Clu, per our original plan you are correct we should be hitting the stuffer shack first. It think what caused the problem is that Jade skipped that part in her post and went straight to the garage. I'm seeing about getting her to correct that right now. Then AB will need to correct his post. Or I could use my other login in and just delete it. ;D But I wouldn't do that, so we will just wait. JD

Hmm, lemme read the edits and I'll fix my post accordingly. Also, you guys can RP getting up to the point where you're about to do the job. You don't have to do any rolls unless you specifically ask to do them.

Sorry I haven't been more actively posting that last few days. I got a new job and have been working ridiculous hours. I'll have tomorrow night off, but for now I need sleep and to put my brain in a shelf for couple minutes.

When you get a chance Abschalten a few questions for you.
#1- ETA for Jade to move from the roof to Miffy through the ducts without a hang up?
#2- Gap in the outside patrol times? I'd like to pick a point when the KE patrol car is farthest away from the Pet Factory.

#1 - With no hang-ups? She could probably be through the ducts relatively quickly, down to Miffy, grab her, and then back out in five to seven minutes. This is assuming there are no bolted grates and she doesn't break any bones. #2 - Already answered in the thread, but they seem to appear on odd-numbered hourly intervals. ---- Sorry about the absense there. I try to come around once a day, but I've been SLAMMED with work lately. On top of that I seem to be in the initial stages of meeting not one but TWO females. My bad luck seems to be on the upswing, and I'm not into the sport of looking into the mouths of gift horses.
